Words by Jesse Ziebart
Grab your battery powered toys, alarm clocks, household gadgets and instruments and get ready to RAWK like a robot. LornaLAB invites you to share ideas and knowledge with other geek-minded audiophiles and techies this weekend down at Hafnarhús for an afternoon of electro invention and exchange. This quirky event will be facilitated by composers, Aki Asgeirsson, Magnus and Jesper Pedersen Jensson, who will educate you on ‘circuit bending’, or ‘how to turn your electric toy into an instrument.’ Bust out your best homemade synthesizer and let’s make some bleeping sound! Read more about LornaLAB in Grapevine’s Issue #18 which comes out December 2, 2011 and check out their video below.
