The snare drum on this album is amazing. Crisp and full, every beat is remarkable. Guitars are in tune, and in good time. The disk also has a 21:18 playing time. Beyond that, the lyrics are chanty “I wanna bum like the others/ bum like they do/ be like the others/ be like you,” and delivered with Ska-style confidence, but it’s just hard to get drunk enough, or dumb enough, to tolerate the overall package. Still, there is that snare drum. It’s a damned good snare.

Worth two beers for the snare drum. Costs four beers.
