Looking for a place and room mate(s) in August
Hello,
I am a Canadian student taking the Medieval Icelandic Studies (MA) program at the University of Iceland this August. I am looking for a place with multiple people for a year, from August 2011 to end of August 2012. Anything from a 2 to 5 person apartment/house would be great.
I am hoping to live with some Icelanders so I may experience the country better and improve my Icelandic. However, I am not limited to this preference and I will gladly take a place full of international people as well.
A little about me:
I am 23 years old, from the Yukon, Canada. I am very clean and easy going. I love to cook communal meals and I am open to grocery sharing. I am respectful of personal space and understand the need for quiet/study time during the week should it be needed! I am passionate about languages; I speak English, French, German, and Swedish, among many other dead languages. I love to be active, watch movies, read books, enjoy conversation over a beer, and much more. I am not a smoker but I do not mind living with one. I enjoy to go out and drinking a bit but I am not a constant partier either!
I am hoping to find something for when I arrive on August 21st. A furnished place/room would be ideal.
