Swimmers Sneaking Cameras Into Pool

Despite the overwhelming presence of signs prohibiting cameras on pool grounds, people are caught sneaking cameras into the swimming area at Laugardalslaug pool three to four times per week, RÚV reports.
Most of the people caught using cameras at the pool are tourists trying to take souvenir snapshots. The pool staff evict any and all guests taking pictures on the grounds. Use in the locker-rooms is strictly forbidden and any use of cameras there is reported to the police.
According to the pool’s regulations, people who wish to take photographs need to obtain permission from the sports and leisure authority (ÍTR) and have to be accompanied by a pool staff member at all times.
While we’re on the issue of pools, some people are also sneaking in without showering first, which is really gross. Shape up or ship out, swimmers.
