An elderly couple on a shopping trip to Bónus supermarket accidentally crashed into three parked cars and pummeled through Z-Braut’s shop front, reports Vísir.

“Thankfully no one was injured,” said Z-Braut shop owner Guðrún Helga Theódórsdóttir. “No one on the sidewalk and no one in my store got hurt at all, that was very lucky.”

The driver says that the gas pedal on his car got stuck, preventing him from being able to break properly.

Two large storefront windows were destroyed in the crash and damages are expected to run up to a million ISK.
