Nature Pass A Reality As Of January 2015

The “Nature Pass” granting access to popular Icelandic tourists sites will come into effect January 1st, 2015, reports RÚV.

The purpose of the pass will be to direct funds from tourists and Icelanders alike to the care and upkeep of Iceland’s natural wonders.

Minister of Industry and Commerce, Ragnheiður Elín Árnadóttir said in an interview with RÚV last night that there will be three passes available for purchase.

2.000 ISK for four days

3.000 ISK for one month

5.000 ISK for five years
