An association of claimants has been founded to file a joint lawsuit against Vodafone, reports RÚV.

Last year the text messages, passwords and other personal data of over 70,000 Vodafone customers were posted online after the Vodafone website was hacked.

The joint lawsuit will seek damages on behalf of claimants affected by the leak. The claimants will remain anonymous.

A statement issued by the association encourages anyone who felt transgressed by the leak to join the lawsuit.
