From Iceland — Airwaves Revisited

Airwaves Revisited

Photographer Ojay L’eroe has come to Iceland Airwaves almost as long as the festival has existed. He has seen the festival grow in size and scale and captured the progression of some of Iceland’s most notorious acts as they flourished. He has been to the craziest parties this city has hosted. And he had his camera the whole time.
On October 15th, a retrospective exhibit of L’eroe’s work with Mr. Destiny will open at the Nordic House for the run of the festival. The exhibit will show the unique spirit and overall amazing legacy of Airwaves over the last eight years. Come revisit the shows, the parties, and the memories that time (and alcohol) may have faded away.
Prints will also be available for sale for those who wish to have a piece of musical history on their walls.
This will be a great way to kick off this year’s festival while reminiscing on adventures past.
